I was wondering if anybody had confirmed the values of the resistor and capacitor on the input of the third gain stage in a real Liverpool.
Thanks,
Robbie

Re: Liverpool 3rd stage Input RC
The values in the layout / schematic in the files section are those as seen in a real Liverpool (or several).
Allyn, correct me if I'm wrong here.....

Re: Liverpool 3rd stage Input RC
Hi Ron,
I looked through the schematics and see various implementations:
a.) 150K resistor with a range of .001 to .01uf caps
b.) .001 tot .01uf / 33k tot 68k (what does "tot" mean?)
So are these values based on different Liverpool models observed? I'm trying to narrow things down.
Thanks for the help,
Robbie

Ken built each amp with the customer in mind as well as what sounds best in that particular amp. What has been documented is from various different actual Wrecks, so you can see that things varied from one amp to the next.
I think the optimal values are 68K and 0.0022uF, but YMMV.

Eardrums!!! We don't need no stinkin' eardrums!
