I was reading the interview with glen about the pot values being sourced threw a vender that metered his pots for him.
has anyone ask glen what his TW's pot values were? if so what are they?

Re: Glens Pot Values?
It probably made no difference, but my mid pot was 30.2k, presence 5.2k and I'm pretty sure the others were as labeled. However I didn't write down the volume pot reading so I'll have to check that. The resistors and caps in my amp all read very close to the marked value, with possibly the resistors slightly on the high side but well within tolerance. I couldn't get a reading on some of the caps with them still in the circuit and I opted to not unsoldering anything.
Re: Glens Pot Values?
I got to thinking about how your Resistor Values are high but in tolorence and carbon comp tend to drift. would it be safe to say they where spec'd high with the intension of them drifting down with age? and if so you could use exact resistor value to give close to the broken in sound in a current day build....?
Glen does your original have press on preamp cover's on all three cinch sockets? or was V1 a black socket without a J rim / no cover?

Re: Glens Pot Values?
I think they are carbon film and my originals may have drifted up a tad to get where they are now. My two clones ended up being a little on the low side so hoping they move up over time which they probably will. That said, out of my two clones I built for myself resistor wise I used the highest ones in one amp, and next highest in the other. Kind of my A pick and B pick. As in one amp is just a tiny bit closer to spec than the other. Probably a waste of time as the amp that seems to sound better (ever so slightly) is the one that is slightly farther OFF spec. Only talking a however a percent or two maybe even less.
My amps all have the brown cinch sockets and the preamp ones have the lips that can hold covers. However I don't usually run any covers.
