Trainwreck Liverpool,LP,Glen Kuykendall + Ken Fischer video

Post by geetarpicker »

I just dug this old video out of the tape drawer...

A friend of mine Nigel Brewer (student of mine back in the early 80s) once had a local cable TV show called "ROCK STUDY" in 1992. In this segment I'm interviewed and play the '59 burst into a '91 Trainwreck Liverpool amp out to a single 1x12. Pretty high gain metalish sort of stuff mostly. Definately a Liverpool in a high gain moment.

Nigel also had the foresight to drive up to NJ and interview Ken Fischer that year. About 5 minutes of the interview is here in this same show from 1992.

Brings back memories!

Cool Glen, thanks for posting this... I wonder if any of Nigels other interview footage is still around? Or any other video of Ken?

My friend is looking for the rest of the footage he took, but it hasn't turned up yet. I actually asked him about it all last year or so, but just yesterday I watched the old tape and had actually forgotten the KF part was part of the same show I played on. So, at least for now I've posted all of it we can find. Apparently he spread it out amoung 3 shows, but maybe filmed about an hour of total footage of Ken talking. I talked with my friend last night and he start looking again for it for sure.

I think it's also cool you can see what appears to be at least 2 Trainwreck heads on the coffee table in front of him.

Keep watching my youtube for more as we'll post the rest of the footage if it turns up. Most likely with the interest in it all my friend will put in a much more eager search for it all. I have a good setup here for transfering and getting it up on Youtube :D

Thanks!
