Sounds a little more throaty than your Express. I love that sound. Keep the clips coming.

I listened to all your clips, very informative. Out of all the amps and clips you have, which are your top 3 faves. I know some are plexi, and modded,to 2203 etc.. But i'm sure you may have a couple favorites,or combinations of speakers with a certain amp.

Rockstah, great sample!! I've posted an idea about trainwrecking a 1959 on MetroAmp and a single tone pot version here about last may, but never had time to try them because I'm on retroengineering a SRV SLO. glad to see you've got the same idea and you have realized it!
What about power supply? What are differencies on different 2ns stage load values 2n2-150k? Have you tried wiring two triodes of V2 in parallel with 47k and 4k7 resistors?

Thanks!!

I love it. I remember thinking about marrying my two favorite amps together about a year ago. But I simply wouldn't have the first clue how to do it. Awesome job, Mark.

Rockstah,
can you try this two pot eq+gain on the trainwrecked plexi?
I'm curious about how it works on this kind of amp, but by now I've no time to build a complete amp just to try this.

Thanks!

It's an old idea I had last winter. I've found some simulations about it (frequency response on eq pot settings):
