New 2 EL84 kinda Liverpool Amp

Just finished this one. Sounds like a scaled down version, still plenty of volume. Very rich and aggressive, just like it should be. Finally got custom wound transformers. They are awesome!

Changed it to fixed bias. Biased it at 35mA cathode current which came to -11.9 volts and sounds much better to my ears. Gave it a little more clean headroom, HA!

I'm sure it sounds great, but I still can't get over your excellent cabinet work! Is that a lacquer finish, polyurethane,...?

I seal them up with shellac, sand and then spray them in lacquer. I wet sand them smooth and buff.
