Hi Ryan, sorry took dog to the park.
I am redoing some wires on the tone stack but I did have-26.

Re: Express Question
If you have -26V and you're reading 40mV on the 1R Cathode resistors then something must be wrong. The lowest I've ever been able to go with the bias voltage in my Express is -30V and that was a one off!
Can anyone else chime in here with their experiences?
Edit: Have you measured the 1R resistors to make sure they definitely measure up as 1R?

Re: Express Question
Hey, Ryan thanks for the help....the resistors measure 1.5ohms....I want to finish up with the rewiring and maybe re read basing....I might turn on my PC and post my voltages, which are little low in places, but not by much

Re: Express Question
Ok if they are 1.5 Ohms then I would replace them as they can throw your bias right off. Did you touch the two probes together to make sure there is no resistance? When using one of my meters I get 0.3Ohms when touching the probes together so have to bear this in mind when measuring small resistances.
Re: Express Question
Hello,
I am more a lurker then a specialist, you can see it on the number of posts. I only know that my digital device won't messure this small values correct. So for me, I had messure the voltage with a known bigger resitor, say 25 or 50 ohm which my device messueres correctly, in series and a fixed voltage to be sure that they were 1 ohm as promissed.
I assume your battery is fresh.

Re: Express Question
Yeah new battery this AM. My meter is slightly off,
BUT.....being me, I thought my trimmer was set full one way......tried basing turning the trimmer the opposite until I have 43 ma.....sorry to be so dumb....
Lol, thanks guys.... I will use my other thread, to post pictures of this new build.
