I kinda skimmed this thread and mostly regret it... can someone catch me up if there's anything actually related to guitar amp circuits in this?

and if so, does it somehow end up having to do with design with controlled positive feedback? Because I do seem to remember one member actually did that a while back (inadvertently). Now that could be interesting. And, y'know, feasible.

To date, the whole thread is smelling up the garage like a trash can in the summer. But, there is still a chance that the OP will rescue this thread by educating all the non-believers. At this point, it is completely up to the OP...

Matt, this is where we are, and likely will remain. Poorly written, moronic and confused ranting with a light sprinkling of musical notes, tone, cabinets or guitar. I believe it's about as technical as it will get regarding amplifiers.

VK it is quite simple, I somehow remember reading something, may have been on here on TAG and may in fact have been authored by Plexified that KF had a friend / shaman who would audition / feel each transformer before installation /use for proper vibrations or qualities.... Only the selected transformers by this individual were subsequently used in amps.

So there ya go VK - the resonance was built into, or inherent to, the select few transformers used by KF...

And does that mean that JM is using the sub par sloppy seconds dead transformers that KF did not???

I actually told that story once and I heard it from Gregg Levy. This 'shaman' wasn't much of one and more like a California street nut from what I remember. Like you say, he would put his hands on the trannies and tell Ken which ones were special. When he was gone (Prison, I think), Gregg mentioned that he'd been having a certain type of therapy on one hand and was very sensitive to magnetic fields at the time, so he then became the 'shaman'. His belief was/is that the rule for special trannies is 1 in 10. Take what you want from that.

My point was just on resonance and a potential for a new approach . You can learn from Hendrix when he employed his own monitor amp to excite his guitar at close range . He worked with his techs constantly to adjust the resonance from his Vox Wah and his Fuzz face . It had a very close relationship and if you are aware of the information from his techs you know what I am talking about . The feedback loop I worked with extensively to tune the circuit . I have used transformer orientation considering a 3-D platform . Here it involves the tubes being radiated by magnetic orientation as swell as the capacitors as well in the different stages . Like the Marshall 12 series . Transformer with laminates facing the tubes and effecting one half of a pair or side of four tubes in a hundred watter . The magnetic radiation effecting the capacitor placement in this specific design as well . In the Tesla example it uses an external capacitive exciter to match resonances . In this event it creates a unity of sorts like a removal of drag or gravity . Again , I stated I did not understand it as I was researching it . Your circuit has a resonant point , alone . Then vibrations further influence it . Like in a combo amp versus a head . The volume and physical vibration plus the circuit resonance plus the exciting resonance of the component I am researching which uses external non connected physical connection changes the field of the Output transformer . If you know about the way to control the sag regarding the power transformer its the inverse . All very useful techniques . So , again , I am not done researching this concept . Its a lot of trial and error . Hey Harrison Ford could pilot the Millenial Falcon , but he still crashed a trainer aircraft . But he survived . He knew how to land it textbook style and saved lives . Another funny concept . I have posted a lot of relevant information and its to just to be helpful and offer interesting perspectives . I certainly did not stink up the garage .

mistake noted . Not enough for you to understand . I was excited about the potential of technology that could offer new avenues to guitar amps . I am amidst research as I mentioned . Why is it so hard to just open your minds to new potentials without becoming snide . Like I said jokes are fine , but I find that to just make fun of someone is kind of weird . Because from my perspective you do not understand what I am talking about . That's fine , I did my best to explain . But your the ones degrading the content here . I just perhaps jumped the gun because I thought it was a concept that could be understood . Granted , when I first came across Tesla his work was very fragmented and plans were confiscated . However , that has changed and the information is allowing people to use the original plans to actually make the things he spoke of . I just do not understand why your getting hostile with me . A Beginning for Quantum Mechanics, physics and the furthering of mathematics was Tesla and he was slandered , ostracized and eventually killed after his work was stolen , his factory burned down and he was marked as forbidden regarding the continuation of his work by his close engineers .
