This tranny is for sale on ebay, same specs as the stancore but with an extra 2ohm tap in the secondary....

Similar tranny, but the laminate stack is different. Three butte M19 stack on the Stancor. Still, I'm looking on with interest at that thing. It is remarkably similar otherwise! :D

I think this is a good unit... Merit rebranded trannies and it could be Stancor or maybe Thordarson. I have too many choices right now but for someone wanting a very cool Wreck, this is a great tranny for sure! If it sticks around too long, I may succumb to the temptation... you should grab it and go before that happens.

This would be a great unit to use in a hybrid design, rocket preamp, bassman/jtm45 power amp.
Only one input instead of the 4, with some tweaks to make it full eq, and presence instead of cut.

Too tempting!! :D
