Heyboer/toneslut power transformer question

Post by riscado »

The power transformers sold by toneslut/heyboer are 300ma, I'm also considering getting the OT from them, but going with a hammond PT instead, the problem is that the most suitable one I find is rated at 250ma, would this be a problem I think it suffices for a pair of el34's however your opinion is more than welcome.

That'll work fine. Hammond ratings are DC mA after recto and 250mA is plenty.

Allied carry the PVCs. I've had no problems with them shipping to Europe.

Just cuz it's already in my clipboard: PVC Catalog page from Allied

Are the 225P, 6PS, and these caps all pretty much equivalent (provided I choose polyester)?
