Does anyone use the 100pf?

I was thinking about putting a 380pf on the bright switch in place of the 100pf.

What do you think?

I use it a lot!!! It's all about the guitar being used. Hotter pickups (humbuckers) use the 500pf, vintage humbuckers 100pf and with single coils (vintage) no bright switch.

I had a 270pf laying around that I put in parallel with the 100pf. It seemed to do what I wanted it to do.

Play a les paul with alnico2's. I almost always use the 100pf. In fact I replaced the 500pf with a 300.

I dial in the treble usually around 2 o clock. Gain on 1 o clock.
The 100pf gives me the good amount of clean-up.

Though I find, my other les paul with alnico5 doesn't clean up that well.

:D I put in a 6 way rotary switch ...so you can go from47pf,100pf,250pf,370pf,500pf with position 1 being left open ... this way I can cover any guitar and pickup combination.... its all true bypass ..its simple and you never have to wonder what it might sound like if i just had one more cap!

uh... put in whatever values you want. I was just giving the example of the values I use at the moment. Heck I might need 410 pf someday too!! You know what else is cool? you can make one lug a .01 for more grind if you like....The point is you can use your imagination to try a wide range of hot and juicy flavors.
