Pacific Transformer TF-125 lead ID

Post by casey73 »

I have a Pacific Transformer TF-125 output tranny with orange, green and yellow leads, as well as ground (black) on the secondary. I can't find lead ID anywhere. Anyone here familiar with that transformer? Pacific Transformer doesn't have much product info on their website that I could find.

My guess is yellow green orange = 4 8 16, but I would connect an AC voltage to the primary (6.3VAC filament transformer or AC wall wart) and measure the voltages on the output taps. Higher voltage = higher impedance tap.

Thanks. Hadn't thought of that. The DC resistance is so close between the windings that I wanted a better way to ID the leads.
