Transformers too heavy for chassis?

I've got Ceriatone's chassis going on for my express build and I wonder if it's necessary to put the dowel between the tranny or if that was just for the chasses Fischer used? Is Nik's chassis think enough to handle those guys without the dowel?

No dowel needed for Nik's chassis. The ones Ken used were very thin.

Cool, thnaks. Though I can see it bend a little if I wiggle the transformers. Guess I'll leave 'em alone!
