Rocket Half Power and HT switch types

Post by johndandry »

I wan to add a half power switch and HT voltage switch to my Rocket build. What type of switch do I need for these two applications? Are they the same model switch as the on/off switch in the Rocket BOM? Thanks!!!

I used a 2 pole, 2 position change over toggle switch to select the power transformer ht voltage. Steve at Apex Jr has some reasonably priced.
I've never done a half power version. I'll be interested in how that turns out.

Half power as in triode/pentode? Or half power as in 2 tubes vs. 4?

Two tubes. Basically the Ceratone Rock-It switches for HT and 1/2 power.

I have used two different types of switches for HT switching from 520vct to 560vct option a carling fender type switch DPDT or DPDT switch from Apexjr.
Also for the 18w to 36w option.
