Express Build Clip - Love the results of my build!

I realized that I had never posted a clip of my build. This was also a test for the guitar because I upgraded to wiring on mu Les Paul Studio using one of the 'vintage' style kits from RS guitarworks. The playing is poor, but I tried to do some single notes and then some chords at low volume and then again at high volume from each pickup position starting at the middle and then Rhythm and then Treble positions.

It should give a good overall sample.

Sounds good but I can hear a microphonic tube there. Am I right? Around 1:30-1:40 sounds like a little whistle on top.

I hear what you are talking about, but I don't think it is a tube. I think it is from vibrations. Either something in the room, or I may need to add some damping to the chassis. The cover plate does not currently have anything but metal on metal and I may try adding a bit of foam inside.

Yes, with this amps placing it on top of the speaker cab can cause things like this. Ken always recommended not to place the amp on top of the cab unless you use an anvil case with foam inside.
