would it be possible to do a bad cat style clean channel on this amp? seems like all that it would use is the spare 1/2 tube and mate it into the pi. double input style. has anyone thought of this or done it? seems like that would be the ultimate.

I'm actually working on that too - liverpool style in one of Allyn's chassis. I'm thinking JJ cans instead of all those axial electrolytics. I don't know whether it should channel switch or simply be another input.

You could also do a Tweed Vibrolux 5E11 without the Tremolo (er, vibe).
