I think I'm done with my express project..
Daniela is her name.
I would like to get other tubes to run in V1 and V2 with less noise.
Also some pics of my airbrake.

Thanks guys for all your help!! I love this forum!!

Nice looking build. It has a very authentic vibe to it... will you post a clip or two for us?

Thanks,

redshark - yeah, that looks good. 8) Is that a 3801 OT? What is the brand of your PT? Sorry if you said all of this before but seeing the iron made me wonder out loud....

Looks like an original except the green labels. Nice looking cab and faceplate.

Thanks Mark!!

yes I agree, need to get a diferent color dymo tape...

Jim Weyandt is the builder of the cab...He did a nice job...remember this thread? I highly recommend his job and customer service. Drilling the holes I broke the first faceplate and I asked him if he could make me another one? He charged me almost nothing and sent 2 instead of one in case I screw up again!! Nice cab builder.

video...

Post by redshark »

Ok guys, this video was recorded when I brought Daniela to a blues jam.
The amp was played by the guy with silver hair.
He was playing a Gibson ES-335 from 1967 with patented number pickups.

I think the amp sounds better in person but still you can notice that it has good cleans, cuts through really well and wait for the solo, (5:10) his volume wasn't turned all the way up. Great lead tone.
Cabinet is a Marshall JCM800 2x12 closed back with celestion rola G12-65's.

I hope I can record some better demos later.

Yeah that amp has its own fit in the mix nice and bright and the lead had very good tone your right. The other guitar is dark so they compliment each other.

Thanks Mark!!

The other guy was playing a Music Man modified by Andy Fuchs. I think is a non HRM overdrive 50 watts, good sounding amp too. Actually the last solo that the guy played he switched to his back pickup and it cuts through nice too.
I would like to play Daniela on a 4x12 instead of my 2x12. I'm sure she will sound better.
