I am in the works of building a Rocket clone. Anybody know the proper value for the treble cap in the tonestack ?? I see 50pf (which makes sense
being ac30 inspired) and I also see 500pf in the discusions. Any idea what goes on in the power supply feeding the preamp tubes. The scem. in the files is very much like an ac30....there is also a schem floating around that shows the preamp supplies being somewhat a kin to a liverpool......
any help ????

As for your question, I'd guess that the AC30 values are what Ken used. I was pretty much gonna build an EF86 pre AC30 head and then tweek as needed... one of these days. I pretty much just use my Express clone all the time now.
