feedback connection

Post by arfy »

The schematic I'm looking at shows the wire from the OT secondary to the presence pot connected at the 8 ohm tap, which is the far end of the winding on that schematic. Thing is, I'm using the Toneslut transformer with 4, 8 and 16 ohm taps.
So the 4 ohm tap would be the far end of the winding and wouldn't I want to connect the feedback wire there?
Any opinions, etc? Or doesn't it matter?

if you connect it to the 4 ohm tap you'll need to change the value of the other components in the feedback circuit. Stick with the way it's shown. I used Moose's transformers and it works perfectly wired up to the 8 ohm tap as shown.

That's what I'll do then, thanks for the advice.
