Hey Guys, gonna start wiring the transformers on my express clone...please correct me if I'm wrong on PT and tell me on OT..
PT
primary (blacks)...to power switch.
secondary
2 yellow wires 280 to diodes
2 yellow green 250 (unused)
2 brown to heathers
yellow/ red and white/brown to ground lug
OT primary
blue CT to standby
where do green go? V4 or V5? and where violet? V4 or V5?

One question, in the pictures of Francesca in V5 I see that the heathers are connected to ground with 2 resistors and I don't see that in the new express layout or in the pics of the undocumented express...why is that?

The 2x100R are there to create a "virtual" center tap for the heater winding. This is used as a ground reference, which is needed to minimize 60Hz hum in the signal path. If your PT has a center tap on the filament winding, which it does per the schematic posted above, then the 2x100R are not needed. Grounding the white/brown heater winding CT lead (at the same place as the HT CT) takes care of it.
