I've spoke with Hall a few times going back and forth and taking readng. They think there is something wrong with the VVR and/or MOSFET, so they're sending a new unit! Can't wait to try it. In the meantime, I made my own one-sided board with better spacing, etc. than on the net! I etched and install...

ok. got the VVR from Hall, installed it perfectly as this instructions indicate with new 220 ohm/5W resistor vertically, .1uF with R19 on the input, thermal compount...everything, and although the amp powers up and sound comes out....move the pot one way or the other....NO DIFFERENCE!! What gives???...
