UA 610 mic preamp schematic
Looking for a schematic or gutshot of one of these, I love the sound but not the price tag. Can anyone give me some info or at least some unit alot like this one. also any info on their 1176 compressor or the one coupled with the original 610 unit would be great thanks guys.

AmpDoc1 in you photos it looks like you are only using two rectifier diodes. Are you actually only using two and if so are they the usual uf4007 variety.

If you have properly designed LCR network after rectification and like the above poster states, the use of FREDs, then you should have no use for those caps "upstream"

might I suggest the atomic 16 schematic, or one of the ax84 high octones. The atomic 16 sounds better I have heard, but I wouldn't know from personal experience.

thank you for the suggestion jaysg, so a proper use of shielded cable and dc heaters on the input stages and of the more extreme gain stages would probably remove at least some noise?

What is the advantage of these. I have someone that wants an amp built and they have requested DC heaters, what are the advantage of these? I am assuming you have to rectify the 6,3v filament wires to straight DC. would this require a half wave or full wave rectfier?

The sloclone isn't a ghost town, i'm one of the ones working to get an uberschall layout done and up. The delieverance 60 is a good project too. The other guys are right about the number of gain stages, building volatge gains across multiple stages. The ecstasy actually needs a good power amp to rid...
