Ah, I learn something new every day. That means my amp already have the little mod I though about doing, and it's even switchable, haha..

Thanks!

Re: Brown Note ODF-100 trimpots.

Ok, forgive me my ignorance here, while I try to educate myself a little. That master volume pot have a pull bright switch, and I guess that why those caps are there. I have no use for that bright switch really. Could I rewire it to do a "bright cap" function on the master instead. Or as I don't ne...

Structo wrote:Are both those cerami caps on the bright switch 47pf?

If so then the total value is 94pf.

But it looks like the one in front has different writing on it.
The second one says C0 22J on it, if that tells you something.

I guess it means the value is 68pf then.

Re: Brown Note ODF-100 trimpots.

On the output of v2b? the poly cap there is too physically large to be 47pf--- must be .001 or .002 ? Sorry I'm not too technical, but I was referring to the cap on my master volume, as seen here(the inside one) [img:1024:713]http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4115/4871919161_bc9aa652a0_b.jpg[/img] If ...

Re: Brown Note ODF-100 trimpots.

I have a killer sounding BN ODF-100 and while opening it up for checking the bright cap value on the mv, I noticed 4 trimpots on the main circuit board, which you can see in the following photo's: Anyone have an idea what they can be? I have tried to email Moss several times for more info on my amp...
