I know these are nearly impossible to find, but can anyone lead me to a Dsl5c schematic? I need this for private use only, and will not repost. Thanks

Re: Best 12" speaker for a Trainwreck combo
I built a wreck style combo with a Weber blue dog, I think it sounds great. The 1-12" speaker knocks the volume down a bit.

Re: "out of tune" feedback
What you are describing is just one type of feedback. Other types of feedback can be generated internal of the amp thru the chassis or other components. Oscillation when the treble and presence are turned up is one type of undesirable feedback. Other types of desirable feedback greatly add to sustai...

Re: Extra Triode?
I used the spare triode to parallel v1 on my clone, and I used my high input to use both side, and the low to use only one. I got the idea from 18 watt.com. I found it thickens the tone alot. I play strats mainly, and to me it is more suited to single coils than a humbucker. I plug my LP into the lo...

Re: Switchable Master Vol.
With the PPI master across the plates of the PI that you are talking about, you can take the pot apart and cut the trace, like one of Ken's tips for the tone control on your guitar.

Re: 15 watt Liverpool Combo Build
I have an express clone that I built in a 1-12 combo. Really no vibration issues. The thing I like about it is that it really knocks the apparent volume down a bit, compared to my closed back 2-12 cab.

Re: KF Memorial Amp Clips
Do your Fralins have the bass plate installed? How do weaker single coils sound in your express?

Re: KF Memorial Amp Clips
Glen, as always, the playing is fantastic. The tone is also great, that amp sounds alot like your express. I do have a question. What type pickups are in your strat? Reason I ask, I built an express clone. I can definitely pick out some similarities between your 'wreck and my clone, however I really...

Re: Interesting Reference - NASA Workmanship Standards
I work at a Nuclear Power Plant, and back in the 80's we had a soldering course that was based on NASA standards, some of the pics in the link you posted looked familiar. From what I remember back then, NASA soldering standards exceeded any military training that I had in the Navy.

Re: Shipping/ ebay dilemma
It seems to me that if the damage was legitimate, he would have not been so eager to quickly repair it and at the very least taken pictures. I had that happen with a guitar that my son sold on Ebay, after a few emails it became apparent that the buyer was just trying to get half of his money back. N...

[ Well Bigtone, I think it is customary to have more than 1 post before you try to help people like BBQBoy on this forum. Go back and tell BBQ that they wouldn't listen to you and you said exactly what you were told to say....  So, is this the way you welcome new posters to the foru...

Re: Weber Trainwreck kit
I guess I'm confused. One poster complains that Ted rips off other designs, such as Trainwreck or Dumble, and then another complains that his kits arent anything like the originals. I think we should be glad that there are places like Weber and Ceriatone out there to support us. 20 years ago you wer...

Re: Weber Trainwreck kit
I have built the Java kit from Weber. I'm very happy with it. I got rid of the cathode follower. Does it sound like a trainwreck? I've never played one. But I think it sounds great. It's crystal clear, has tons of harmonics, and you can control it all with volume on the guitar, and your technique. T...
