Re: Reduced volume with reverb on princeton

You may have oscillation due to lead dress at the reverb tube driver socket. There was a thread recently on this subject. The plate wire (pins 1 and 6) must loop AROUND the socket:

Re: shutting a tube off with a relay

Sure, I've seen designs that disconnect cathode from ground to mute the power section.

Push-pull amps still make sound with only one functioning tube!

Re: Biasing Musicman HD-130 amp?

Given all of the above, what trouble is suggested when you see tubes so badly overheated, and the amp blowing mains fuses? This is a Music Man 2475-130.

Disagree. It's the nature of the amp.

You just need a proper seed crystal to grow the lettuce.

It looks exactly like the square, rubber, self-adhesive ones I bought from Amazon, e.g., https://www.amazon.com/Bumper-Rubber-Fe ... B06XCLYL53

Re: '59 Bassman RI bumper for transformer bracket source?

It's nothing special, just a "L" bracket with a rubber foot glued on.

Re: Filter Cap Replacement - Leaving Old Filter Cap Wires Soldered

Which amp? The damnable Mark IVs and Vs make it very time consuming to lift the PCB. I'd solder new filter caps to existing leads if it was my own amp.
