Oups you're right! There are already unmatched resistors at the PI.

Just took them off and connected the cathodes at the ground! I let you know if I'll find any difference at the sound.
Just finished the rebias of the output tubes.... thanks Martin!

Nice thread! Didn't know all these stories with caps...

I'm using F&T all the time and BC for the small axials. I don't find them expensive...

Maybe you're right but I'd like to try KT66. They're great tubes!
I'm planning to run them at 480V. I don't think it's too high for these tubes.
