Hello all, Are ghost notes normal for the 18 watt circuit?I have tried to find out.Some say the 60's Marshall circuits have this issue.I have a 18 watt now from a small builder that has ghosting issues.The builders rep is stellar.He is sending me a set of different speakers(made for him) to try out....

I added a different photo view of my Ruby in the above post.Can anyone tell me why the ghosting is greatly reduced when I mismatch the impedance(amp set at 16ohms into a 8ohm cab)?I would be grateful for any help.

Sean, is that an effects loop I see? The Express layout is very fickle about grid wire length. You may be picking up an oscillation from that circuit. I also see what ChrisG is talking about. The wires in front of the EL34's look like they have one of the grid wires running parallel in a group with...
