Re: Komet Clone Finished!!! Pics!

Wou, I'll have to get some of this teflon wire :) How about insulation, is it safe for like 1000V? (sorry for my noob questions :) ) And what gauge is it? Thanks!

And, where did you buy it?

Re: Komet Clone Finished!!! Pics!

Very nice build indeed :) I have one question... Aren't those wires really thin? On my noob build I used really heavy wires and it was a pain in the ass, I was wondering if this is safe, I would like to work with this thin wires too :)

Re: Choosing the right amp

Another question... Has anyone compared Liverpool or Express to a Soldano SLO 100?

Any comments are appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Choosing the right amp

Thanks for your answers... I just started to play with a drummer, but I don't have my band amp yet. This drummer has a SS Randall 200W amp there, 2x12 combo, I was really suprised because I had that amp volume really high and sometimes I noticed it wasn't loud enough :) Strange anyway... And I agree...

Re: Choosing the right amp

I was thinking a lot about wich amp to get - now I'm even more confused :) I came on idea to build 18 watt tremolo kit from Nik - that would keep the cost even lower, but now I'm a little woried that 18 watt won't be loud enough... I don't think I'll be using it live without mic, but I want to use i...

Re: Choosing the right amp

Yes, the Dimarzio-s are humbuckers (Paf Pro on neck and Super Distortion on bridge)... I really like the idea of having two channels right on my guitar (Gibson style V/T-control) and I heard that TW's are VERY dynamic amps, so that could be the amp for me - I'm just not sure which one from Nik to ge...
