So it's the bass pot that is bad. It push/pulls for boost? That is a 1 Meg ohm audio taper or log taper pot. Can you see it? It looks like the switch is just a SPST (single pole single throw). Look down about mid way for the CTS 1M push/pull audio taper pot. Does it look like this? [img:163:122]htt...

Talk to Jimmy down the street he has some Indica..........oh wait. Potentiometer! What value? Not sure, here's a schematic. http://www.schematicheaven.com/newamps/laney_aor30.pdf Did I mention I'm a noob :-) If it were just a simple pot it wouldn't be a problem but it's a big push-pull monstrosity.

Does anyone have any idea where/if I could find a push-pull bass tone pot for an 80's Laney AOR series?
