Re: any interest in Dumbleator II info?

Just so some folks are clear on what I said. I am a pirate and a thief and I think so is everyone on here. You may not be breaking any laws but to the people who really did the serious work of designing these things we are worms. Read the back of one of Howard's bassman mods and you can see exactly...

Re: any interest in Dumbleator II info?

Personally I think there are two sides to every story and after reading all this and talking to Bill and Joe of Two Rock, there is much more to the story than anyone here knows but perhaps that will come out in the wash. Secondly, Shad who calls them likes he sees them should not be put down for mak...

Re: Is this a builders forum or the gear page??

Maybe I was a bit harsh in suggesting that we be more exclusive, but I'd like to keep this site as "A TUBE AMP BUILDERS COMMUNITY" as the name suggests, which would also indicate that the "Dumble Discussion" is a place to discuss the construction of Dumbles, and techniques, parts choices, etc. If y...

Re: Is this a builders forum or the gear page??

Sheesh Brandon, I bet are a total of three guys from TGP who have posted here that don't build . I thought that "Dumble Discussion" meant just that. I have learned a bunch hanging out here as a lurker and only posted when I felt it was something I had to offer that was from personal experience regar...

Re: Two Rock Classic

I believe the Type 3 ( I have one) is a very distant cousin to the Kimock TR. The Class A setting and some of the mini toggles (negative feedback etc) and some other tweaks make it quite different than the Kimock model. The other major difference is the two rectifier tubes. The footswitchable FET an...

Re: Dumble Clip Challenge

That's probably the issue for the rattiness on that chord, overwhelming the mic and clipping. I didn't bother reading the whole thread. Most folks there piss me off. In fairness there are a lot of really nice folks on TGP. It's just some of the most active ones that aren't. Seems like it can taint ...

Re: Using the passive loop

A friend of mine has a few Dumbles and they all have passive loops. He also has a Dumbleator but uses his TC and Lexicon stuff in the passive loop and says it works great. Rarely uses the Dumbleator.
