OD trimmer and resistor in #124

I am in the process of building a #124 clone. I notice there is some debate about the resistor coming off the 350K OD trimmer. Most layouts and discussions say it is 220K. The schematic by odurboy(?), and his comments, are inclined toward a 120K resistor. What are people's opinion on this? Has anyon...

well, for what its worth, I did some reading in TUT 1 regarding the long tail inverter, and, as some here have mentioned, the output of that inverter circuit is inherently unbalanced. how to adjust trimmer on PI plates?(#124 build)

How does one figure out where to adjust the 5K trimmer feeding the PI plate resistors? Is it a voltage reading? A resistance? Something I need to use a scope to measure?
