Mini Collider
Here are a couple of thoughts. How about "Mini Collider" in honor of the LHC's first "wreck"? I really like the idea of building this around a turret board and soldering the tubes vs sockets is fine with me.
This is gonna be fun!

Re: Dwarf Tube Rocket Amp
"Let me know if you want to help prototype the kits. They are pretty simple amps to build and the parts will not be bad at all. Protoype kits will be my typical no-profit lets have some fun protocol. "
RJ, count me in on the prototype fun. I'm a novice and all but learning... JimboM

Re: 2w Sub Miniature Express
Dana and Gary.
Thanks for the help. I tried the swap with very little change. I went over all of the lead dressing and grounds and couldn't find anything there. Really appreciate the advice.

Re: 2w Sub Miniature Express
Thanks Gary! I read that section again. Seems that using the CT of the Heyboer negates the hum pot according to Dana's subsequent post. But I'm pretty ignorant on this, so...
MCK, thanks for the suggestion. I'll play with the lead dress a bit more and report back.
All thoughts welcomed.

60 Cycle Hum
Got the Lil Devil kit up and running and am quite happy with the amp. The one area with *my build* that I'd like to see if I can improve would be a reduction in the 60 cycle hum. Don't know if this is the nature of the beast or not.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: 2w Sub Miniature Express
One of my first posts.... Dana's got a Lil Devil kit headed my way. He is amazingly easy to deal with!!!! I started watching this thread with the first post then got busy with a move. It is great to see the momentum behind this idea. I recently completed a Lite IIb with the addition of a VVR. Being ...
