The JJ's sound good, i've also heard incredible things about the tungsol el34s and the Mullard reissue. I've been searching for spec sheets on them with no luck. the screen limiting resistors have been changed on the amp from 470ohms to 1K5 at garnet's suggestion to better accommodate new production...

I was wondering what the tube to get is, I'm using a garnet session man, the plate voltage is 520V, and it is a Combo. I was wondering which new production EL43 can stand up well in these conditions.

maybe, the main issue is how loud the thing is. I don't really use the amp at all because of the volume, most venues I play don't need a 50 watt amp. I'll look into that or maybe building an 18 watt. thanks a lot.

just wondering what value resistors and caps to use with the ken fischer prefered PPI MV on a plexi/fenderbassman (plexified traynor YBA-1 in my case) here is the traynor schmatic unchanged, i'm just going to be ordering the parts i need to make it a hot rodded plexi which isnt many. http://www.lynx...
