choke calculation
David I would like to know more about the calculation you made : You should also run the minimum inductance calculation I think, your instinct is good there, but I don't know the voltage and current. If you're running a fairly tweedy 350V and 100mA draw, Min. inductance is (350/0.1)/1100=3.2H, so yo...

which dumble ??
Hi Rogier,
I 'm from the Netherlands too and want to build a Dumble clone as well but haven't decided yet which one.
Seeing you're so thrilled about your version I get curious what clone you made !
Could you give me some more information ?
Thanks beforehand,
Alf

Re: Underwhelmed by a Boogie cab
Rob , I took my EVL speaker out of my acoustic GT100 and put it into a detuned cab , Kevin O'Connor design and I thinks it sounds fabulous. I have another one in a completely closed cab , it' s okay but not as "big "sounding as the detuned one. I can attach whatever size and different material beamb...

Take care what you buy ; there are also the ones with a pointed top made in Yugoslavia and are really EI tubes. Re: New Sensor EL34 Mullard reissue rewievs??
Where do you get Siemens tubes , a reliable address ??There are still lots of NOS Siemens EL34s available for just a little more than Sovteks or JJs.

Re: New Sensor EL34 Mullard reissue rewievs??
No , I haven't tried them yet and dont think I will after hearing this. Don't believe all the hype surrounding the old reissued brands. Only the name is the same. I would have wished otherwise. Thanks Sebastiano for the review. I agree with you on the Svetlana's ; great tubes. (Winged C !!) Not thos...
