Re: Brake finished

Less then an hour minus paint.
Well worth not having the wife nag and finally being able to open the amp up. The "boxyness" I was getting before is gone now.

Mallory Caps supplier

Ive found a cheaper source for the TC series caps, Allied is almost double the cost, even with shipping I saved approx $10 by going thru these guys.

YMMV

Re: Chassis Mounting, please suggest options...

"I know it'a a little on the ghettofab side, but what about Epoxy the nuts to the inside of the chassis?" Probably not a good way to go, if the bond breaks, the nut just sits there spinning in chassis while your trying to remove it. Id go the rivnut route as well, its something I work with everyday ...

Re: Liverpool w/ VVR Complete - Cab Photos added - Clips Added

Ive purchased a two hole chassis from Allyn and the VVR from Dana. Both are superb quality. Im more after a bedroom amp and was heavily leaning towards a two hole LP. Skybolt has offered some tips as well as others. Im capable of the mechanical skills required to do this but being so new new I kind ...

Re: My intro

"operating at the hairy edge of stability" heh, I work with helicopters, I spend my life on the "edge", Its funny, Ive spen...

Re: My intro

Thanks for the warm welcome and advise! Is there any info on this two tube Liverpool mentioned? I did a site search and not much came up under two tube liverpool. Is this the same as the gem Dana just put up in combo form? If so, could someone kindly point me in the direction of any info? Id rather ...
