Try to replace the output transformer with a bigger one. Do not change values in the schematic .. increased core section will give you more lows... :idea: [/b]

You can identify the source of the microfonic noise using the hammer test...take a drumstick as you hold a pencil in your hand and kick the preamp 's caps one by one until you find the source of noise... may be even the fi...

Sorry, but you made a mistake...i noticed it at the first sight... your coupling caps must be turned 180 degrees ,cos in this manner you have hum noise ... the marked side must be soldered to the plate...AM I RIGHT OR WRONG? :idea: [/b]
