Re: Supro Coronado 1690T cuts out
Before I did the freon thing, I was 2/3rds of the way towards removing the boards but stopped. I reckon in order to get this board out everything has to be released, both boards, AC module and the on/off/standby board. All zips come off. All and everything yes?

Re: Supro Coronado 1690T cuts out
Ok got it, the old Freon trick on one of the bypass caps, brought it back to life. Now may still have to pull the whole damn things apart to replace that cap. Anyhooooo, thanks for the support

Re: Supro Coronado 1690T cuts out
Steven thanks for chiming in. Yes they are switchcraft type, checked that aspect and the switch is opening as it should. The amp played normally and after a few minutes it cuts out (low volume) on IN2. Since I reflowed the jack at IN2 the amp now does not play normally at startup!! I inspected the s...

Re: Supro Coronado 1690T cuts out
Just carefully reflowed the two jacks, I think they are using other than 60/40 solder. Now that IN 2 does not have full volume at start up just the low level as in the cutout. Wondering if I might clean those jacks and re-solder from scratch.

Re: Supro Coronado 1690T cuts out
Hi Aaron, it just suddenly cuts out to very low volume on the IN2 side. I used my Big Shot ABY to goose it (both inputs connected) and got it to come back for a bit then fail. We tried running the amp for an extended period and suddenly it cam back but then failed again (on the IN2 side). It happene...

Supro Coronado 1690T cuts out
Hi, I have a Coronado amp, which sounds great as a clean platform. The amp comes up nice and both the IN1&2 and IN 2 channels work as they should, until about 5 minutes into it.... the IN 2 Channel cuts out to very low volume. It will intermittently come back but it is sporadic. IN1&2 still operates...

Re: Effect Pedal building
I have an Exotics Super Sweet that needs a new pot (has a light in it as well), it's a special part. Any ideas where to source this? I have a note into Xotics. The pedal took a fall. Pot works but only if you press down on it.
Thanks A
Found its a the New Small Bear, all good

Re: Marshall kit 100WSL - trouble shooting
On a side note, the Mojotone fuse holders are gone way flimsy. I do not see Valvestorm anymore. Do you guys have a great source for Marshall style fuse holders that are robust?

Re: Marshall kit 100WSL - trouble shooting
Aaron, egads, correct as always. My review work needs serious sharpening. It's all together now holding the fuses, no blowout and sounds great. My damn dyslexia gets me in trouble from time to time.
This goes for my Grandson who has a great little band going.

Re: Marshall kit 100WSL - trouble shooting
I believe the schematic calls for a 4A fuse for HT and 1A for mains, but 1A fuse keeps blowing. Here are the results. Once the tubes were back in the amp pulls 114w from wall with 1.09A Bias was as it was set previous to pulling tubes, with tubes now in 30 -31 range on all tubes. Unloaded it pulls 5...

Re: Marshall kit 100WSL - trouble shooting
Hi Aaron, thanks for looking at this. I do not have reference r's for the heaters. I do have the heater CT grounded at the pre-amp grounds as in the Larry scheme. I show normal readings on all the heaters and normal readings at the entire amp? As for the EH pre-amp tubes, Mojo is sending replacement...
