I feel like a dummy. I just looked at the Ceriatone chassis layout and realized that the master volume is a push pull pot. No wonder it wouldn't do anything.

I posted something specific to the 18watt amps over there. I didnt mean to restrict this discussion to the 18watt stuff here. In general, would it be reasonable to build a Brown '60s Fender harmonic vibrato tremelo type of circuit into say a Marshall, Matchless, etc., flavored clone? Or, is it easie...

Has anyone ever built and documented an amp that used a harmonic vibrato similar to the Brown '60s Fender Concert, Pro, or Super? Is this tremelo even feasible in one of the 18watt amps, or would it be better to just use a Univibe or some other kind of pedal?

I don't know if Im into the EF86 thing or not. I actually just bought a complete used quad EL84 36watt Ceriatone that Im going to try for now instead of the DC30 build.

first time poster.....

Im thinking about either purchasing a used Ceriatone DC-30 or ordering the chassis and installing the Westlabs transformers as a project. Has anyone used the Westlabs iron in one of these amps or tweaked one of them further? Any thoughts or advice?
