Hello , Im the who made that schematic I notice that i forgot to label the second cathode resistor, its a 2k7 but anyway i have built this and it is an amazing amp , it has quit a lot of gain so you will have to use your guitars volume knob to achieve a clean tone. this is not one of his vox rip-off...

Output transformer w/ 6 taps on the secondary
I feel really stupid but Im out of options. Ive got this OT that I won on ebay it was running a hifi amp w/ 4 12au7 and 2 7868(so i assume 30watts?)(6.6K OT) ok so my problem is it has six taps and I cant figure out which one is the com/ground tap, dumb i know, but i have no experience with hifi amp...

On the Mazerati GT picture layout V1 there is a resistor coming from pin7 to the volume control, however their is not one on the schematic. Any idea what value the resistor might be? Thanks yeah i could not tell what it is , but if i had to guess maybe 1K5 or 220k/470k. I did build this without tha...

In the Trainwreck pages Ken says its better to use the voltage method rather than the current draw method for the express. I ask b/c this would be a much easier way to bias.

Hey Thanks! So, were you able to keep the same transformers then? I notice the addition of a 40uF filter cap as well. I'm wondering whether to do do what you did as well. I know that some have successfully done a transformation like this keeping the 6V6 and had success as well, but I haven't found ...
