FOR SALE: Marshall 2204 Kit.
I'm selling this kit simply because I have many other projects and don't have the need for a 50 watt marshall. It's a chassis kit missing only tubes and sockets. The passives are PRO series metal fim resistors, Mallory 150 Coupling caps, and other modern components. The Ecaps are F and T and Sprague...

Glue on the filter caps
I don't use it on my recaps and builds.
Is it really worth it? I don't see how an amp could actually benefit from this.
Is it a thing that happens on world tour, Van Circuit, never off the road amps?
I'm just wondering why I see some with it and some without.

Re: Choke Location on an ODS
Should I just install where the 102 layout has the choke? Or is there a better place? Room is getting a bit tight and I don't want to drill anymore unnecessary holes if possible. I believe I have room along the front by the pilot ligh. But I'm not sure it will get enough airflow. Also wondering abo...

Re: Choke Location on an ODS
I already have to output and power transformer locations. Would I need to go so far as to having the power tubes installed to try the "headphone method"?
I'm going to look into that. Thanks for the info.

Choke Location on an ODS
I'm installing a choke in an old D'lite chassis. I'm building the amp as a 102 high plate skyline. I have a twin reverb choke I need to drill holes for. My question is. Should I just install where the 102 layout has the choke? Or is there a better place? Room is getting a bit tight and I don't want ...

Resistor identification
Anyone have any idea what type or brand resistor these are?
The one in the middle looks to be a piher.
I know it's a long shot. I have a bunch of them from an old ham radio technician. Just figured I would ask.

Re: Snap in caps in eyelet boards?
I guess that is the best route.
I'm trying to hunt down a PCB Gerber file for an ODS that I know is on here.

Snap in caps in eyelet boards?
Is there a specific size eyelet to allow modern caps to be used on an eyelet board?
