I had thought about the power rating of the pot, but it has been purchased as a CTS "Fender Humdinder" pot (in Fender packaging) for Fender amplifiers, so I think may have a higher power rating that the 'normal' CTS pots. Hi All, I am fitting a 100 ohm Humdinder pot to my 15w amplifier. Heaters are 6.3v and take just over 2 amps. Is it okay to twist all three wires together (6.3v pair plus ground) that are going to the three pot terminals, or should I just twist the two outers (6.3vac pair) and leave the ground out o...

Definitely the bias, but first, if you are in the UK make sure the mains transformer is set to 240 VAC. They are usually set for 230 VAC for the UK market which makes the valve heaters run over-voltage.
