Just here to concur yes the site has been going down for me too. I would also be happy to help with any sysadmin stuff and help iron out any issues. I've been pretty nervous to see the site become unstable - there is no substitute for this site on the internet.

What's funny to me is that a few years ago I considered buying this domain, just because I liked dumble amps and it wasn't taken. I suppose if I had I could have sold it back to whomever this is and made a few bucks like all them domain scalpers. I didn't really have a use for it so I didn't grab it...

I have not seen the performance in question, but the sound that you describe is something I would most equate with a high plate skyline ODS.
