Re: 50w ODS with on board 'lator?
Interesting. This Bluezmeister I built with the on board tube fx loop is the only D style amp I've ever heard, so I have no reference. But I like the way it sounds. I think I'll try taking the loop out and see what it sounds like before I commit to this new build.

50w ODS with on board 'lator?
This is what I want to build. In fact, I've built one already using a donor chassis and cabinet. I want to build a head version with a proper chassis. I saw that Amplified Nation has the chassis but they're punched for 3 12a_7 tubes. I would need 4 and the pots. Also, is there a PCB or even a layout...

Anyone Building a True 2 ch ODS?
I think my ideal amp would have a fender clean channel and the ODS drive channel but with it's own TMB tome stack. Did Dumble ever make one or are any builders out there making this?

Re: Noob Question
I dont recall exactly, but KWS definitely ssid in a rig review that his custom shop 57 deluxe reissue was rebuilt by HAD. He said that amp had "it".

Noob Question
I've been lurking and reading some but I'm still unsure if there is an ultimate Dumble channel switcher. I believe the ODS has the famous Dumble (Robben Ford) lead sound. And the SSS has the big powerful clean (SRV)sound. Is there an amp that can approximate both? It seems that the touring pros that...

I guess the condensed version is; "Don't use crappy European tubes like Mullard, Telefunken and Amperex".
