Re: DeArmond Amps (Moved)
Hey, that's my schematic! It's a scan of an original copy that I posted to the web years ago. Thank's Tictac for cleaning it up. Wish I saw this post sooner so I could have been of some assistance. BTW... I own a Dearmond R5T, picked it up at a yard sale about 10 years ago. Definitely a sweet ...

Champion 600 (basically an AA764 circuit) cuts out
I have a Champion 600 which cuts out whenever I hit the strings of my guitar hard however, the sound comes back whenever I tap the chassis anywhere with a non conductive stick. Also this seems to occur when the volume is at 12:00 or higher. I have swapped in numerous new tubes and the issue remains ...

Hammond AO35 circuit question
A certain amp by a certain builder (both will remain nameless) is closely based on this circuit. It has one tone knob and one volume knob. If anyone can describe the design of the tone and volume and tell me where to put them in this amp I would be so grateful.
Thanks
Karl

Caps across plate resistors
In some express schematics Ive noticed sometimes there are capacitors across the plate resistors in the preamp section. How do these effect the sound?

Re: How is the Komet 60 with OD pedals?
Im not looking for MONSTER gain. Its just that at some point i might want to use it to practice at home where volume is an issue but still I would like to have some overdrive.

Dumble Schematic/Layout Quest
Today I finally had a chance to play a Dumble type amp at my local Guitar Center. It was a Bruno Super 100 and I instantly fell in love with it. Ive been debating for a while as to what my next build would be and now I know this MUST be it because I it felt like nothing ive ever played before; so pe...
