OK, thanks! I have a Hammond 290PAZ on the shelf... that should do for the PT right? I also have a Hammond 1620 OT... what do you think of that? 20W and 6k6 input impedance

on the far left of the boaed... is that 2.7k? thats the one I'm not sure of. and the grid resistors. thanks!

A guy gave me this circuit board. he thought it was a Trainwreck (its not), then thought maybe it was an AX84. the preamp looks similar but its got 2 power tubes (6BQ5/EL84). A friend has this Marlboro amp, I haven't seen it yet so not sure of the exact model but I think it a GBO 520B, 3 inputs... Guitar/Bass/Organ, about 30-40 watts, one 15" speaker. a good amp can make a crappy guitar sound at least OK. a crappy amp will make even a great guitar sound bad. this I know to be true

I'm pretty interested in building that '97 Skyliner amp referenced in post #1. is there a picture somewhere of the main board? I've spent a lot of hours looking but can't find that one... I would love to see the layout.

hmmmm.... not on my computer. they go to "downloads" as "file.php" and nothing I have will open them, even the "Express sch" schematic program. Windows 10
