Re: Old Caps
If someone had a bunch of old caps would you willing to test them for a fee? How long does it take to test them.Is it worth doing- I guess it depends what they are and what they are worth.

10% resisters
I have some Nos silver band resisters. Are they ok to use in a Fender type build. I see in some of the original parts layouts they called for 1/2 watt 10% tolence resisters. Any thoughts on this?

Re: Liability in amp building
 Wow! Makes you think twice about helping someone out with an amp. Maybe this is why there are so many people selling kits instead of finished amps. I remember reading about kit aircraft and that people were building small planes because of liability issues and the way around it was to sell a k...

Liability in amp building
:( Hi-not a fun subject. I am retiring from teaching at the end of this school year and am looking at things to keep me busy and to maybe even make a couple bucks so I can continue to buy my toys. I saw on another posting where a guy said he quit building amps for fear of being sued. Years ago I had...

Ted Webers amp parts
I see that alot of Ted Webers amp parts are much less expensive than other sites especially his cap prices. Has anyone had experience building his kits? Or should I stick with name parts? Some of his caps are alot less like 20% of a Sprange Atom. I'm a Newbee so what do I know!

Plans for Fender Tweed amp cabinets
Hi- Does anyone know where I can find plans for amp cabinets? I am interested in building some but I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to. I can get the dimensions off ampwares Fender field guide but a plan would be great some amps have a sloped face and that is hard to tell off a pic...
