Will the mayer get the ods sound or is a pure clean amp. I like the ods sounds that most players are getting. I played the custom reverb sig was very clean then the gain stages added dirt. It didn't seem to sound like some of the videos of the dumble overdrives. Never played the mayer amp. I know john plays his amps clean then boosts the crap outta them with pedals. I just wonder what both cleans sound like...

I bought a custom reverb sig and traced the guts , got all the values and got tons of pics. Wanna build my own. How much of a difference is the john mayer sig vs the custom reverb sig.
