the head is tubed, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the reverb is solid state/digital. The head is a v3m.

i was thinking it was the reverb driver since it fluctuates with that pot being moved but I'm trying to understand why it would be solved by just giving it that hard tap, and how it can work fine for hours and suddenly it'll come back. and what do you mean by recovery tubes? sorry about that, it does play fine on my mac but I guess other systems have that weakness. below is the video hope someone can point me in the right direction

when I uploaded the video it got mad compressed so you have to turn the volume up pretty high but yeah sometimes it's more of a wish sound then a pitch and sometimes it'll crackle or PoP before doing this, sometimes it makes it as you turn it on, and sometimes it will be fine for hours and not happe...
