I'm suspecting that's what happened to this amp, but can't really verify (I don't have the old tubes). Any idea what the symptoms or the outcome would be if this did happen?

6L6G? in place of a 6L6GC
What would happen if I replaced my 6L6GC with tubes that weren't 6L6GC?  This is for a Fender Blues Deville Reissue 4x10.  I'm having trouble with it and suspect a tube mix-up.
