Tubes noisy during break in?
I swapped out the 6L6GC tubes in my 80's Fender 30 and pulled and cleaned the six pre-amp tube's pins. The amp once warmed up sounds better, but when I first power it on I get some random popping and static sounds. After playing for a few minutes it goes quiet. Is that normal, and will that go away ...

By the looks of this amp it appears to have seen alot of use, but ya never know..I may try the 9v AC/6hr burn in method! I've never heard of that, so thanks! Good to know for new speakers anyhow! I live in an apartment, so I may have to find a way to insulate my neighbors from the noise it would mak...
