Thinking about building my first amp

Thinking about building my first amp. I'm pretty good at soldering. And my father is a master electrician. But what is the best way to build one?
I'm thinking of a Liverpool from Ceritone. How easy is it to follow the instructions, etc.
Any place I should look for maybe a more identical clone?

Much better. JM said that the low end distortion of his previous videos is not accurate

Assembled Trainwreck Rocket Clone?

What are some options for fully assembled Rocket Clones? What are some reliable builders, etc. looking for the best clone I can get for a good price.

I know of ceriatone but all the demos seemed to not have any tube breakup.

Thanks!

There are a few subtle.differences in the circuit but that would get you in the ballpark.
That may be an option I will have to listen to some demos. Was the z wreck built most to resemble a rocket?

I'll give it a try. I was really looking more for a new amp suggestion as I love my maz for what it is. It would be nice to add something for versatility.

Re: Amp suggestion

See I have tried a 12ay7 tube and it doesn't have enough gain it it. The goal would be to have the same crunch with more touch.

Amp suggestion

I have a maz jr NR that I love but want something a little more touch sensitive. I love everything dr z makes. But I simply cannot, and won't be able to any time soon, afford a Z Wreck. Are there any options? I like using my amp as my main dirt, and the maz does it wonderfully. The only problem is n...
